As an Aerospace Engineering student, I know that physics concepts need to be accessible to more than just those seeking a career in physics. To me, the first step in making even the most fundamental concepts in physics accessible to the largest number of people is studying how those ideas get from instructor to student. Thus, my research interests focus mainly on student-teacher interactions.

Currently, I am working with Cassandra Paul as an undergraduate researcher doing TA observations at San Jose State University. Aside from this, PER has given me insight on what goes into successful teaching, something of which I’ve only ever been on the receiving end. SJSUPERGROUP has also introduced me to a network of professionals who are passionate about their work and are making positive waves in education.
